i love my body

the elegance of my smooth fair skin

with its tiger marks around the base of my hips

i love my body

but i feel as though its a sin

an evil blessing that should be kept hidden

i love my body

but this treasure is not to be examined

with gawks of desperate men

i love my body

but i am tired of being misled

because of the beauty within

that has never been indulged in.
